Taren Smith won on a regular basis in 2005 and dominated his age group the Northwest. He won the Division 6 Championship and won at Bremerton Raceway, Pacific Raceways in Kent, Renegade Raceway in Yakima and Mission Racway Park in British Columbia, accumulating several Wallys and Crystal Challenge trophies.
